Happy New Year 2023, babe! 🤗🤗💞💋 Well, the last week of 2022 was very different than the one I had planned! 🙄 Original plan was that I would travel to Bangkok Friday and then with kids, parents and family members travel and spend New Year's Day holidays together. I had left Pattaya early in the week, but my oldest kids are in school, and my father, sister and brother were working until Friday, so I decided to travel to see relatives in another city (they have a new baby and I haven't seen them for a long time). They are on the coast where Thailand has the long peninsula that goes south and eventually m33t Malaysia, but they’re still quite near Bangkok. Since no one could travel, I decided I had a few days and I wanted to see my friend and her boyfriend who live on Koh Samui island. So I drove more south. By this point I was starting to feel a little sick and some of my family were also feeling a little sick, but it was not so bad, so I kept on going. To get to Koh Samui I had to take a ferry. My friend sent me the ferry pier location and I went there and took the first ferry I could. That turned out to mistake... I overheard some people on the ferry talking about going to a different island and I thought “Hmm, I guess they got on the wrong ferry and they’re going to be surprised when we get off on Koh Samui 🤭”. But, no... That ferry pier has ferries to 2 different locations and of course I was in the wrong one! 😖 So I ended up on the wrong island! 🙄🤣 I had started to feel a little sick early in the week, but by Wednesday evening - Thursday I was really sick and just worked on the computer, ate a bit and slept 😳🤒 And making things worse was that my kids and parents also were quite sick at the end of the week too. So we now cancelled any plans we had and everything I planned for New Year did not happen 😞 But now we are planning to do a trip together later. Maybe that is good because we will have more options because not that many people like to travel in the early new year time. So I think when we finally do travel it will be more relaxing and more fun 😊 By Saturday I was starting to feel a bit better. My friend and her boyfriend made it over from Samui, so I saw them and in the evening I spent a couple hours at the new year party 🥳🎆 But I headed back to my hotel early as I was still a little bit sick. Now Sunday (when I write this) I feel almost normal and ready to take pictures and videos to share with all of you. I traveled a long way to get here and now that I feel better, I want to see this island and get some beautiful content! How was your New Year?
