Happy Thai New Year, darling! 🥰🤗 How was your week? I had a busy scramble doing things before the big Thai holidays started! But big news right at the end of this update! 😊 Shooting this week was light. I spent most time doing social media shoots this week and mostly at my home. Part of the reason for this was that my periods started. This was no fun at all 😡 Sorry if I was grumpy with anyone in chat, but my stomach and back were in bad pains, and I was having mood swings 🙄😒 On top of that, I was already late for my monthly Dentist visit, so I took care of that, too (brace tightening is no fun) 😬 When not shooting photos and short videos, my house was crazy busy from early morning to late night with work being done on the garden / pool area. I had mango trees cut because they got too big and went over electric lines and the neighbor's house. This was good to get done, but very messy and busy when I was already grumpy! 😳 OK, phew. That’s all the bad stuff. Sorry for dumping all that on you guys! But thanks for listening! 🙏🏽 My week got MUCH better when my kids, parents and many extended family members came to stay with me for the rest of the week! 😃 They came to celebrate Thai New Year! While for me this means longer days and a lot of cleaning, laundry, making or buying food and playing, it is just so awesome having everyone here! The kids (mine and from the rest of the family) all played together with much time spent in the swimming pool and on the water slide many times every day 😎😂 Now is a long school holiday in Thailand, but in 2 weeks kids are going back to school again. Family members have to get back home and ready to work and kids also returned to Bangkok Sunday evening. One crazy thing that happened is that on Wednesday night the water fountain at the house fell down and made a big noise! It scared me and others a lot 😨 I don't know why it fall down like that, but it's totally broken and I have to think if I can get a new one later ⛲🤔 And I have to think about that now, because I started the Thai New Year with something BIG! I finally managed to get enough down payment saved for the house and I signed a loan agreement, so now I "only" have to pay the rest of the house in coming years, and it will be mine and kids in the future!! 🥳🥳😊 This is basically buying a house with a mortgage. Saving money this year was especially difficult because I have spent a lot of money for healthcare for grandparents, kids and other family members 🤕🤒😷 But it is a HUGE thing! As I say, it is not a palace, but it is a nice western-style family home. Something (super) wildly better than I dreamed of growing up and I am still in shock that I can do this.
